There are two bars at the Hatchet, giving a choice of atmospheres to enjoy you favorite drink.
The Public Bar has a big screen projector T.V and the ITBox Gaming Machine.
The Lounge Bar has more seating and incorporates the dining area. This bar has the wood burning stove dominating one end during the cold winter months.
If you are a regular at The Hatchet you will be familiar with or main stay selection available on draught.
Ringwood Best, Adnams, Abbots plus a guest ale make up our real ales. Tetley Smooth Calsberg Extra Cold, Carlsberg Export, Stella Artois, Strongbow and Guiness make up the rest of the draughts.
In addition there is a large range of bottle lagers and beers available from the chilled cabinet.
Guest Beers have always been popular in the past at the Hatchet giving the real ale drinker the chance to tryout "something a bit different".
Regularly rotated, in the past we have offered Jeckles Gold, Slap and Tipple, Trafalgar, 12 Days, Rocking Rudolph, Adnams Fisherman and Hobgoblin.
Fine wines are available by the medium (175 cl)or large (250cl) glass or bottle on the full range of wines on the wine List with the excetion of Sparkling wines which are availble by the bottle only. Please see the wine list link to view what we have to offer
